Well, Kelli and I ventured up to Phillips Area on Friday for Disney on Ice with all the kids in the freezing rain. We all had a blast dispite the nasty weather outside. It was an amazing show! We got to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Tinker Bell and Cars. The show started out with the Cars group coming out to help Mickey and his gang fix his car. Then we saw a mini version of The Little Mermaid. We got to hear all the big songs and see most of the main characters from the movie. Madison still thinks that Flouder is called Deepo, but I think it is going to have to take some more movie watching for her to get the association right. Next we saw The Lion King. Madison didn't really like this one that much. It was a little darker than the other shows. Plus she hasn't seen this movie yet, I don't think she is ready for it. It has death and scary characters in it, she has just gotten use to the violence in Peter Pan. After the Lion King we had an intermission were all the kiddos got a souvenior. Madison got cotton candy and a Tinker Bell hat. Canaan got a snow cone in a Tinker Bell cup and Caleb got cotton candy and a Mader (from Cars) hat. After intermission we got to see Tinker Bell. This show was based off the new Tinker Bell movie, which I don't think any of the kids have seen yet. It was very colorful and the Queen and Tinker Bell flew from above. The closing was with Mickey and all his friends came out and skated with the Tinker Bell cast. Madison did really well she got a little antsy towards the end, but for the most part sat still for the show. Elisha was the most excited of all the kids, she couldn't sit still on Kelli's lap. She just loved it when Mickey and Minnie came out. All in all the kids did excellent and it was a very good show, the boys missed out on a good one!
